Membership

Membership in the Jewish Community of Prague can be granted to the applicant under the following conditions:

• Mother of the applicant is a Halachic Jew

• The applicant underwent a regular conversion

Membership is granted by the Executive Council of the Community after the Rabbinate verifies the claim of the applicant.

Under the Statutes of JCP it is possible to become a member of the community if the applicant has at least one Halachic grandparent. Then a so called Special Statute is granted.
